Locally produced in our Nelson Smokehouse, this product is hot smoked naturally using native beech and manuka woodchips for a distinctly kiwi flavour.

Vacuum packed to seal in its fresh flavour and moistness. 

Packed in approximately 400g - 900g packs.  Price is per 500g.

This product has been blast frozen to maintain maximum freshness and quality.


Produced in our local Nelson Smokehouse this product is smoked in the traditional manner. The fish is first brined before being smoked naturally using native woodchips (beech and manuka) for a distinctly kiwi flavour.

Preparation: Hot Smoked Mahimahi is perfect for salads, platters or turn into a wonderful smoked fish pate.

Shelf Life: Most of our fresh smoked products have a 28 day shelf life from pack date. Please refer to use by date on pack.

Fish for your health: White fleshed fish is traditionally high in protein and low in fat. However, all fish provide an excellent source of Omega 3, an essential fatty acid which helps in lowering blood cholesterol and maintaining a healthy circulatory system.

Suggested Wines: Many smoked species are a little drier and need wine pairings that quench them. A Vintage Champagne, Rosé Sparkling Wines, Dry Riesling or a white Pinot Noir will pair well.
