Produced in our local Nelson Smokehouse this product is smoked in the traditional manner. The fish is first brined before being smoked naturally using native woodchips (beech and manuka) for a distinctly kiwi flavour.
Preparation: Enjoy on a platter, made into a Pate or in a tasty chunky salad with cous lettuce, pine nuts, flaked parmesan and diced capsicum with caeser dressing.
Shelf Life: Thaw in Refrigerator, once opened use within 3 days.

Suggested Wines: Many smoked species are a little drier and need wine pairings that quench them. A Vintage Champagne, Rosé Sparkling Wines, Dry Riesling, or a white Pinot Noir will pair well.
