Newly released Southern Glory Oysters, cultivated on Stewart Island, same species as the Bluff oyster but plumper and larger - delicious!! Approximately 20-32gm for each oyster.
Made famous by the annual Bluff Oyster & Food Festival, some say that Bluff oysters are the finest in the world. Southern Glory Oysters are grown slowly in the cold clean waters from Foveaux straight. The Southern Glory Oyster is sweeter and plumper with a delicate and succulent flavour and a medium oil content.
Availability: Southern Glory Oysters can be purchased online from November to June. Shelf life: Best consumed on arrival or within 5 days from packed on date, check date on pottle.
