Nelson scallops are popular for their size and taste. Caught fresh in the clear, unpolluted waters of Tasman & Golden Bay. Peak season is Spring to early Summer.

The whelk shell colour ranges from cream to dark brown.  The meat is oval white, flushed with dark tan.  Texture is firm, very slightly chewy and a taste similar to crayfish.

Paua have been shucked, gutted and snap frozen whole and then vacuum packed (paua are approximately 150gm each after processing). They are ready to be cooked as whole steaks or sliced and fried with your favourite accompaniments.

The abalone or paua trim is frozen and once defrosted is ready to use for making your own paua patties or other dishes.

The Kina is sought after for it's delicate, smooth, buttery roe. The male roe is silkier, whereas the female roe is slightly more grainy.
