Made right here in Nelson, Fernando's Portuguese Chourizo, made by chopping and grinding the Pork, then marinating it in Paprika, Black Pepper and Chilli. It is these spices that give the Chourizo it's characteristic flavour, dinstinguishing it from other types of traditional sausages.
Popular in countries such as Portugal and Spain, Chourizo is great when combined with all types of seafood, and is especially good with Squid!
